The BRAVIA Theatre Sub 9 is Sony's flagship wireless subwoofer, built around dual opposing 200mm aluminium drivers and 600W of S-Master digital amplification. The opposed driver arrangement cancels cabinet vibration, so the enclosure stays composed while the sub digs into the ultra low frequencies that give film effects their weight and music its foundation. Being wireless, it can sit wherever the room allows rather than wherever the cable reaches, and compatible systems support dual subwoofer playback if you want a second unit for more even bass across the seating positions. Setup is handled in the BRAVIA Connect app.
