Product Overview

The E.A.T. E-Glo Petit B is a high-end, fully balanced, discrete tube hybrid phono stage — and the “B” stands for Balanced. It takes the compact form factor that made the E-Glo Petit a critical favourite and reimagines it around balanced XLR inputs and outputs, fully symmetrical discrete gain stages, and a dual-mono, split-passive RIAA network.

Two ECC83S valves sit at the heart of the design. Chosen over the standard 12AX7 for their shorter anode plate and spiral heater filament, they bring markedly lower microphony — the kind of refinement you hear as a blacker background rather than a specification. There are no IC op-amps anywhere in the signal path.

Balanced XLR and single-ended RCA inputs can both be connected at once, so two turntables can stay wired up permanently. The XLR input is optimised for moving-coil cartridges, while the RCA input handles moving-magnet or moving-coil, with an unusually generous range of gain, impedance and capacitance settings to dial in almost any cartridge precisely.

Handmade in Europe. Finished in silver, with optional magnetic side panels in high gloss Makassar or piano black.
